Okay. I officially stopped moping about after being struck (quite literally!) at the hospital the other day. Comfort won out over fashion though, so I'm not counting my outfit for this entry's outfit check. I know, I know, it's my blog! I'm supposed to be the fashion nerd! But, hey, you try dying and tell me you'd feel okay enough to get all prettied up for an aimless walk around the city. . .

Still sort of stylish, I think! I've had this velvet cardigan for as long as I can remember and the necklace was an old gift. I'm calling it "post near death experience chic."

Operation "Hana makes new friends" is on pause still. Well, not entirely IIIIFFF you count me meeting up with an old friend I haven't talked to for a while as a mission success. I genuinely haven't seen Soji in a bit, and honestly I've been meaning to try rekindle old friendships for a while now but, well, y'know. . .

Anyway! I thought there'd be no mention of Hiori today, especially since the guy has started ignoring my messages, but in a rather ironic coincidence, Soji's working with his brother Hayate on some project. Laser guns, I think he mentioned? I feel bad to admit I tuned out the second my brain drifted to the technical aspect. (ᵕ—ᴗ—)

Our hang out didn't last too long. Shizimaru got hit with this CRAAAZY wind and going far didn't seem like the best of ideas. That and uh, I got lost. Like always. Poor Soji had to walk all the way from the other side of the city to come find me after I blindly stumbled over to the police station. Oops?

Before we parted ways though, I made sure he posed for a picture, so here's a better submission for the day's outfit check. (He chose the pose, not me. . . Twice.) I suppose you can never beat a practical outfit when you're tinkering with tech like Soji has apparently been! Honestly, the utility pants and tee combo remind me a little of how my dad would dress to go to work when I was younger, but the accessories give it more of a cool vibe compared to middle aged handyman. I wonder if he intentionally matched the red sunglass lenses to the red gem in his earrings? Beats me, but looking at the little details of somebody's outfit can let you in on who they are as a person. At least I think so. ⋆˙⟡

Disclaimer - I am totally a fair employer. Or uh, contractor? Boss? I don't know, what I mean is that I gave Soji a cakepop in exchange for him posing for some pictures.

Soji and I snapped a quick photo together too. Go take a look at my gallery! Sometimes when I don't have the energy to write up a whole post I just post some random pictures there. Pluuus you can go see all the ones from my old posts too!
